Eastern Europe

Expedition 2 · From Moscow to Paris

Warsaw, Budapest and Prague · Route 07-B

The second expedition of the Northern and Eastern Europe route: from Moscow towards Warsaw, Budapest and Prague, ending in Paris.

The expedition picks up the thread in Moscow, where the Baltic leg had ended, and turns south: Warsaw, rebuilt stone by stone, and Budapest, divided in two by the Danube, with Buda on the hill and Pest on the plain.

Prague then appears through the mist of the Vltava, with its bridges and its old town intact. Paris is the documented end point of the journey and, with it, of the entire route.
