Expedition 2 · From Venice to Paris through Italy and the Iberian Peninsula

From Venice to Paris · Route 02-B

The second expedition of the Continental Europe route, also travelled by rail: from Venice to Paris via Rome, Florence, Pisa, Marina di Pisa, Milan, Monaco, Cannes, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Pamplona and San Sebastián.

A journey in which places and history take on a new dimension through friendships and shared experiences.

The expedition picks up the thread in Venice, where the central leg had ended, and heads down the Italian peninsula: Rome, Florence, Pisa and Marina di Pisa, before climbing north again to Milan.

From Milan the railway follows the Côte d'Azur — the Principality of Monaco and then, in France, Cannes — and enters the Iberian Peninsula: Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Madrid once more, Pamplona and San Sebastián. Paris closes the expedition and, with it, the entire route.
